Speaker: Jianxun Ren, PhD

Dr. Jianxun Ren is a principal investigator at Changping Laboratory, Beijing. His research focuses on: (1) localizing and analyzing brain functional circuits, (2) guiding neuromodulation for brain disorders through personalized brain circuits, with a focus on Parkinson’s disease and post-stroke functional impairments, (3) understanding the mechanisms of neuromodulation, and (4) optimizing neuroimaging processing using deep learning. He uses multimodal technologies such as advanced functional neuroimaging, invasive/non-invasive neuromodulation techniques (such as TMS, DBS, and FUS), deep learning, and genomics. Dr. Ren has published over 30 academic papers in high-impact journals, such as Nature Methods, Nature Communications, Medical Image Analysis,…
